About the Team

Guy Brémond
Maître Sommelier & Founder
Native to Provence, Guy was very young when he knew that he would dedicate his life to his passion for the art of wine tasting.
He joined the prestigious Wine Sommeliers School in Tain l’Hermitage. Very early, his exceptional qualities allowed him to get prestigious jobs in most major hotels
in the world (including Geneva, Gstaad and Hong Kong).
Several years later, Guy moved to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, to which he’s very attached, and where he decided to value the most great growths of
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, by opening The Caves St. Charles.
Corna van Niekerk
Tasting Manager
She is a proud South African who initially ventured into the wine industry with a focus on the commercial aspect. Little did she know that her journey would swiftly ignite a deep fascination and genuine admiration for the world of wine.
In a twist of fate, she found myself falling head over heels for a talented winemaker. Together, they embarked on an incredible adventure, crafting exquisite vintages and realising that winemaking is a beautiful blend of passion and unwavering dedication.
Their love story blossomed, leading them to make the life-changing decision to relocate to the enchanting region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Since then, every day has been a chapter in their shared history, filled with the unparalleled joy of being immersed in one of the most magical wine regions in the world.
Corna says "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share this extraordinary journey with wine enthusiasts from all corners of the globe. Together, let's uncover the magic and create everlasting memories in the world of wine".

Valentine Brémond
Tasting & Marketing
As Guy’s daughter and the second generation of Les Caves Saint Charles, Valentine grew up surrounded by her father’s passion for wine. Although she never initially imagined herself joining the family business, her first season at the Caves in 2025 quickly changed her mind and inspired her to continue the adventure.
After graduating from business school, Valentine spent several years travelling and living abroad. Her international experience allows her to connect naturally with visitors from around the world, while Guy has been her most important teacher, sharing his knowledge and passion for Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Today, Valentine mainly hosts wine tastings and also brings a fresh perspective to the marketing and social media of Les Caves Saint Charles. What she enjoys most is
the human side of the experience: meeting new people, sharing stories and creating memorable moments around wine.
